2nd Round of Visitors!

The next week was spent hanging out with David's fam. David's mom got in Thursday night followed by David's sister (Jennifer), brother-in-law(Dave), and our nephew Dylan on Friday.  

Saturday we went to MOA, and that night I stayed home with Dylan while the rest of the family went to the last Covers show. 

Sunday we went to church and crossed the border for brunch in Wisconsin. We went to the zoo Sunday afternoon, ordered pizza for dinner, and played games.

 I took off on Monday (David's birthday) and we shopped around Grand Ave and ate dinner at Amore Victoria. They all left Tuesday. :( 

*For my speechies out there, I did make a list of all his words that he's using.  He's right on track!  ;)

It was a great weekend and we were so excited that Dylan got to come see his Uncle DW and Aunt Beek.

June Visitors

The month of June passed very quickly. We had a great time in June with two of our weekends being filled with visitors. The first weekend of June my parents came up for to hear David sing his last Covers concert with Cantus. They got here Friday right after David and I left MPR studios in St. Paul for him to do a radio interview about leaving Cantus and his plants to pursue a solo opera career.

David had a show Friday night and I got to take my parents to my favorite restaurant, Muffaletta. We sat out on the patio, enjoyed our dinner, and waited until it was time to pick up David after his concert. 

We grabbed breakfast with some good friends, Patrick & Corinne and then did some shopping before the show Saturday. The show was great and some of our church friends were able to join us for the show. 

Sunday morning we went to church and then took mom and dad to the airport. It was a quick visit but a great one.
