cable knit

Here's a cable hat that I just finished this very minute!!!  It's for Rachel, and I'm giving it to her when she and Nick come up here to MSP this weekend.  I'll be sure to do a blog post after their visit, so you can hear about all the fun things we did.  Here are the pictures...I also included a darling picture of Liam Patrick Doherty who was born Thursday morning.  He's using the blanket I made for them to go home from the hospital...it warmed my heart.  

 

Isn't he a doll!!!!!!!  I love him so much already.
